Easter

We have started an Easter tradition were we put our baskets out on the front porch for the bunny to fill. This year Livi wanted to leave a note for the bunny.

She likes to keep things simple... They left a few carrots for the bunny as well..

Before Easter we colored eggs with Grammie, Papa, Chris, Becca, and Fisher. Coloring eggs with children is always organized chaos.

I love this photo...looks like a real heart to heart

Fisher came to spend the day with us the other day and I had to catch this moment. Just after nap he climbed up on the couch with Liv while she was playing Wii. He hung out there for awhile and she just kept right on playing. It was so cute!

Liv's Reader Theater

Liv's Kindergarten class did a readers theater in April. It was really cute. We practiced, practiced, and practiced. She did awesome! We were really proud of her. They read a poem called "I caught a little rhyme" It was about a kite. Her partner was Brielle, which happens to be one of her friends.

The class opened the show with songs they do in the classroom to help them learn numbers, days of the week, months, and following directions. This song was silly and its about following directions.

Maryland Trip

In March over my spring break we went to visit Erin in Maryland. We walked around DC one day and Baltimore another. It was a busy weekend but we had a great time. We managed to squeeze in the movie Tangled and a speeding ticket. The day we walked around DC it was chilly so we didn't spend too much time outside walking around. As you can see the girls spent most of the time wrapped up in the strollers.

One morning the girls helped Erin cook breakfast...

It was the cherry blossom festival

Madz and white house, we would've had closer pictures but while we were there security asked everyone to leave the area, so we had to cross the street for photos...

This was in downtown Baltimore....we did that one day as well

We needed change for the parking meter

so we got the girls some ice cream...on our way to lunch!

This light house was in downtown Baltimore...had an interesting history about the man and his family who lived in it.
