Christmas 2010

It was a wonderful Christmas! Every year I feel like we have more and more to be thankful for...This year on Christmas Eve we went to church with the Peters Family and my Aunt and Uncle came with Chirs, Becca, and Fisher. Then the Peters Fam came back to our house for a yummy ham dinner. It was nice to spend time together.

Then Chirstmas morning Liv got us up about 7, not too bad! We had to wake up Maddie but thats normal! They were so excited and just kept ripping into everything. My mom, dad, and sister came over Christmas morning and we opened gifts with them and had a yummy breakfast casserole. (all we've done is eat) It was a great morning. I got a new camera! so I had fun taking pics all morning...

Then after laying around in our mess all day, we finally got showered and dressed and went to my moms for dinner. (once again, eating!!) There we visited with The Simon Family and The Stones. The kids all had P.Js on and played with their new toys. Scott came up to visit Wendy and we just hung out...After everyone left our girls decided to sleep at Grammie and Papas so Mike and I went home to get some much needed sleep!:) Maddie told my mom "she wanted to stay because she had no kids at her house" it was funny...

Silly Bath Time

Livi was having a blast makin' faces with the bubbles during bath time and I was crying I was laughing so hard at what she was coming up with....

Cookie/Ornament Exchange

I had a cookie/ornament exchange (which we decided the ornament part was too hard) with my friends from work and all thier little kidos. It was a house full but we learned that with a few of them pregnant this year, that NEXT year, we will have 12 kids total. We might need to rent out the party center next year! :) It was a great day and I feel lucky to have such great friends!

It wouldn't be a "teacher" get together if we didn't have a craft...thanks to Miss Jen the kids got to decorate snowmen. Although our preschoolers used more glue than snowman accessories. They had a lot of fun, Thanks Miss Jen :)

Getting our Tree

It has become our Peters tradition to get our tree the first weekend in December and then decorate the house. This year we actually tried a couple of different places before finding the perfect tree. It was the first one we saw and had to go back to get it after our second stop. The girls were funny because until we brought the tree into the house they had really no idea what we were doing. When we brought it in, Livi said, "What! your bringing that IN here?!!" It was funny. Both of them were making us laugh because everything was "sooo beautiful!" or "I just LOVE this!" We had Christmas music on and they were both singing, Livi was shaking her hips to the beat. It was a frozen moment in my life! Here are some pics
